SUMMARY:Make a Difference Day with WMBC at Galbraith Mountain
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a day of trail work and invasive species removal at one of our community’s most beloved recreation spots – Galbraith Mountain! Whatcom Land Trust helped  protect Galbraith in 2018 and now holds a conservation easement on the  property. We’re excited to partner with the Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition for Make a Difference Day\, a national day of service where folks from all over the world participate in community oriented volunteer projects.  \nWhat to expect: Walking a longer distance on uneven ground\, digging using a shovel\, pulling roots\, clipping plants \nDirections: Please plan to meet at the trailer area of the south side parking lot at 9AM if you want to carpool\, otherwise bike in and meet us near where Air Chair intersects RD 1200 at 9:30AM\, look for our tent! \nCarpool option: Follow this link to join a carpool!  https://www.groupcarpool.com/t/rcy4bj \nRegistration is not required but signing up beforehand will make signing in easier!
