Make a Difference Day @ Galbraith Mountain with Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition

Celebrate Make a Difference Day with Whatcom Land Trust and the Whatcom Mountain Bike Coalition! This national day of service brings people together from across the globe to participate in community-oriented volunteer projects. This year, we will be doing trail work and invasive species removal at one of our community’s most beloved recreation spots – Galbraith Mountain on the Land Trust-sponsored Up 2 Something trail. Whatcom Land Trust helped protect Galbraith in 2018 and holds a conservation easement on the land, ensuring this treasured recreation area remains accessible for generations to come. Join us in giving back to the trails that give so much to our community.

What to expect: Walking a longer distance on uneven ground, digging using a shovel, pulling roots, and clipping plants.
