Earth Day @ Maple Creek Reach

Join Whatcom Land Trust, Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association, Nooksack Indian Tribe, and Whatcom Conservation District for a special day of restoration at Maple Creek Reach this Earth Day. This property has undergone incredible restoration efforts over the past 15 years but there is still work to do. With breathtaking views along the North Fork of the Nooksack River and frequent eagle sightings, this is a volunteer favorite—and for good reason. But there’s still work to be done, and LOTS of invasive Scotchbroom to remove! Come be a part of this rewarding effort and help restore this beautiful landscape.

What to expect: Walking a short distance on uneven ground, using a weed wrench, and pulling weeds.
