The Fenton Nature Reserve is an 80-acre property with a lovely mix of forest, wetlands, and open fields. This property is full of activity as fish swim up Haynie Creek, the eagles come down to munch and the beavers are busy making their dams. As wonderful as this property is, the ecosystem could be improved through removing invasive species and made better for all the wonderful wildlife. For this Field Friday, we will be focused on removing invasive holly and blackberry. We will also be doing a walk around Fenton for our annual site visit. Join us for this day long adventure in the north part of Whatcom County!
