Planting and Trail Maintenance at Teddy Bear Cove with Whatcom County Parks

Join Whatcom Land Trust and Whatcom County Parks to help restore the beloved Teddy Bear Cove shoreline. Help us close off unauthorized trails that have caused damage to coastal forest habitat by moving logs and planting native species. There will also be plenty of opportunities to remove invasive ivy and pick up litter! 

What to expect: Moving logs, walking on uneven ground, digging, planting

Directions: Take Chuckanut Drive south from Bellingham. Park at North Chuckanut

Mountain trailhead and enjoy a 0.7 mile bike ride or walk down the Interurban trail to Teddy Bear Cove trailhead. You can also park onsite until the lot is filled up.
