Site info: Jensen Family Forest Park is a 23-acre treasure of towering Douglas-fir trees, some over a century old, generously donated to the community by Don and Judith Jensen through a conservation easement. After raising their three daughters among these magnificent trees, Don and Judith wanted to share this special place with the wider community. Today, through partnership between Whatcom Land Trust and Whatcom County Parks, this forest remains protected forever for all to enjoy, honoring both the Jensen family’s generations of stewardship and their hope that others will find the same joy among these trees that they have cherished for so many years.
