Located on Point Roberts and within the Pacific Flyway, the Maple Beach tidelands are important habitat for birds while providing passive public access. This intertidal area includes eelgrass beds that are key fish and bird resting and feeding areas, is home to a wide array of other marine species, and benefits water quality of the Salish Sea.
