Maple Creek Park is just down the road from the town of Maple Falls. It contains less than a half-mile of Maple Creek, forested hillsides, wetland habitat, and a loop trail. Maple Creek is an important stream for the spawning and rearing of several salmon species. The upland forests not only provide shade for the creek, but also habitat for an array of wildlife species. This park is owned and managed by Whatcom County.
