Want to help tear down a derelict cabin to prepare for estuary restoration? Join us for Field Friday California Creek! This 3.26-acre site, nestled along the California Creek outside the mouth of Drayton Harbor, is home to important habitat for salmon, shorebirds, forage fish and other critical wildlife. We need your help to demolish a dilapidated, one-room cabin and clear the area for future restoration efforts, including native plantings during this year’s Orca Recovery Day on October 19th.

What to Expect: Clearing rubble, using tools to tear down cabin, walking on uneven ground
