Take part in this fun volunteer day at Spruce Roost Reserve, a stunning 17-acre forested property along the North Fork of the Nooksack River. Home to towering Sitka spruce, this land provides essential habitat for Pacific salmon, trout, and bald eagles. Lend a hand in restoring this critical ecosystem by helping to remove invasive species and enhance riparian areas for local wildlife. We’ll also take a hike around the property to check on key aspects of the site. We can’t wait to spend this December day with you!
What to Expect: walking on uneven ground, cutting plants, sawing scotch broom, bushwacking
